What can I say? I have known Rosie for 5 years, and I have loved her from day one. Beautiful and confident, talented, kind with a strong sense of self, I have always known she is going places. And then I met Jake, and I was like, yep, these two are perfect. I loved their sweet and simple wedding. I loved that they went to DC for their honeymoon and that her bouquet was a huge bunch of baby’s breath, that their turquoise rings were purchased at a little store in Arizona, and her dress was off the rack at Dillards. These two blonde-haired adventurers are going to have a wonderful life together. I see many traveling, camping, wonderful life experiences in their future, and I’m so happy for the two of them!
Congratulations Rosie and Jake!
Love, Lindsey

Tessa’s grandmother was married in the Salt Lake County building, and what a sweet nod to family history for her granddaughter to follow in her footsteps. This was such a sweet wedding. I loved the deep blues and pinks, the long tables with flowers, and Tessa’s gorgeous, classic dress. Tessa and Brennan were high school sweethearts (how cute is that?) and I’m so excited for them as they begin the next phase of their journey!
Congratulations you two! Thank you for letting me share in your wonderful celebration!

As sweet as they come, that’s Elle and Mike. Ellie’s smile is contagious, and Mike is attentive and kind and the two of them make a very beautiful, happy couple. I feel in love with the two of them and their equally darling families. Ellie is the first to get married in her family, and those daddy-daughter dances get me every time.
Here’s to summer, and sunshine and happiness and love!

I love this quiet time in the winter months to catch up and give proper credit to all my wonderful clients. Chanise and Zach were so laid back and chill. I think Chanise might be my easiest going bride. I never saw her stress or worry. It might have something to do with the fact that they both go to school in Hawaii. That would keep me relaxed and happy all the time too!
I loved the pops of orange in their colors, all the pretty details, and how sweet, fun, and lovely Chanise and Zach are together. Congratulations! I so loved working with both of you!

Lindsey! Your photos are stunning as always. I so wish I could have been described as an “easy-going bride” but I know that was far from the truth. I’m sure I’ve exaggerated it all in my mind, but I look back on some of my moments with you throughout the whole wedding process and cringe. I was definitely uptight. And the funny part is, I had no idea what I was talking about! I should have just let you do your thing … you do it so well. Someday down the road I’m going to schedule a family portrait session with you so I can redeem myself. :)

I have been holding onto Kristy and Adam’s beautiful Zion Vow Renewal for quite awhile. Their feature just came out in Destination I Do magazine and it is perfect! Kristy is the talented genius behind Momental Designs, where she makes beautiful, custom invitations and stationery. I was honored and excited when she asked me to photograph her 10 year wedding anniversary in Zion National Park. It just happened to my 10 year anniversary the same month, so I got to live a little bit of the dream along with Kristy and Adam. Every detail was lovingly thought out, and so much care was put into making the day memorable, lovely, delicious, and fun. Kristy and Adam are from Scranton, PA, but fell in love with Zion during one of their National Park explorations. For their May 15th, 2010 renewal, they headed out West with a small party of loved ones and celebrated in style. Kristy has some wonderful thoughts on planning and executing their big day, which you can find here. Thank you so much Kristy and Adam! I loved witnessing the renewal of your love and commitment and I am excited for all your future adventures! And thank you Destination I Do for the wonderful feature. I feel all kinds of fancy.

I’m so honored and excited to share Maile and Mitch’s wedding feature in Utah Bride and Groom. Val did a beautiful job laying out the magazine. If you haven’t already, you should pick up a copy. Utah Bride and Groom is consistently top notch, and I feel pretty special to be there, amongst all the lovelies and inspiration. Of course, it all comes down to Maile and Mitch, and their beautiful wedding and wonderful team they had working for them. Thank you Val and Utah Bride and Groom, for the amazing feature. I have my copy purchased, on the bookshelf with pride!
Be sure to check out all the amazing vendors who contributed to Maile and Mitch’s wedding (listed down below.)

So, back in 2011 I was published in this kinda amazing magazine. Oh, it was just this little thing called, PDN’s Top Knots. Ya know, no big deal :) And then I got super busy with wedding season, and never got around to sharing my happy news. But here I am, finally getting to it. I was in such beautiful company, and was so honored and excited to see Alex and Blake’s lovely kiss amongst all the inspiring images. There is something about seeing your work in print, in an actual magazine, that gets my heart all a flutter.
So, better late than never, I present PDN Top Knots, 2011! Cool, right?
There it is! There it is!
The online version, and the actual version.
Love, Lindsey

i just wanted to say congrats again!!! and i am honored that it was a photo you took of us that made it into the magazine! blake and i feel like celebs, and we show our copy to everyone who enters our house (which is basically a very small amount of people, but hey! we’re still super stoked about it!), and we spread the word about green apple photography all the time! we sure loved having you do our photos for us and loved getting to know you! you did an amazing job, and you are such a neat person! i feel like we are very good friends. there is something about a wedding photographer that makes them feel very very close to you. i think it’s because you got to share all the big, exciting, special moments with us. thanks again for capturing all of those beautiful moments on our big day! hope all is going well for you!-alex

- What a great 5 days, well done to every body iovvlned, Jasmine is right Sachin “just start running” go for it. I have been doing wedding for a year now and I really enjoy it, I started as a 1st and don't have a second shooter, its very hard covering the whole day on your own. Think after watching the course I might start using a second shooter, Best of luck Sacin, “just keep it real” and have a great time. Peter.

- Great post Sachin! This cmmoent, “Its important to be inspired, but its more important to be inspired and take action.” really hit a nerve with me. I think I have a ton of inspiration but with that I also have a ton of fear of taking action. Something I have to work on. Thanks again for sharing your experience with all of us. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.
