Utah doesn’t have a beach, per say, but we do have a salty lake. It’s our own little random wonder. And Christine were the perfect couple to wade out into it’s smooth waters.

Christine has been my assistant on and off for years, and it has been so fun to watch her live her own love story. Christine is a photographer herself, and photo major, so Fielding had a lot of previous experience behind the camera :) Basically, I love these two and am so happy to be photographing their wedding.

Yay for stinky waters, bugs, dead birds (if you have been there, you know what I’m talking about), love, warm days, and blue skies!

I’m always so grateful for my amazing clients and friends, and Maddy and Sean are two that make me feel lucky to do what I do.

I loved their sweet session, which took place at Maddy’s aunts magical house, and gardens, I loved the sunny weather we had in February (you wouldn’t know it’s February in Utah, right?) and I loved how fabulous Maddy and Sean are together.

Here are a few of my favorites from our afternoon together. Are you dying over the pirate treehouse? Because I sure am.

Sometimes it’s fun to remember past sessions from the old blog. Today is one of those days.

Because Sallee and Eric were so fabulous and deserve to be archived over here. These two are fabulous together and I loved every nanosecond with them!

I love this engagement session. Liz and Keith were troopers in the cold and mud, Liz even had a cold. But all I see is happiness and love. I can’t wait for their March wedding!

  2. Brooke Schultz says:

Haha, I feel like I’m saying that about all my couples lately–luckily trekking through mud/enduring the cold is a lot easier when you are in love. :)

So sorry for the lack of posting lately. Lucy and I have been under the weather with a bad head cold and the blogging was the first thing to go. But we are feeling better! Yay! And I’m back with this sweet little session from last summer. Amanda and Tyler, will you forgive me for being so behind and posting this 6 months late? I hope so!

Remember Tessa’s pretty bridals? And now here I am posting her engagements. Sometimes I do things backwards. But I didn’t mean to miss this sweet little session. We had it all, rain, sun, clouds, scary storm…And if you couldn’t guess, Tessa and Brennan’s wedding was 9.17.11. How fun are their save the date pics?

These two are high school sweet hearts. How sweet it is to meet someone so young, and then be able to grow together, through all the crazy, wonderful, twists and turns of life. I’m so happy for you Tessa and Brennan!

I just loved this session, taken up at Audrey’s family property in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains (with a little side stop to a local diner.) You couldn’t ask for a nicer couple or a more beautiful session. It was a perfect day

This session was a blast. When Bre and Addison showed up, holding these huge balloons, I knew we were going to have a good time. And we really did (wrangling these crazy balloons along with us!) These two are as darling as they come, and so happy and glad to be with each other. Addison first saw Bre at a bus stop, which I think is really cute. There is even a song about that, right?

Bus stop, wet day, she’s there, I say
Please share my umbrella
Bus stop, bus goes, she stays, love grows
Under my umbrella
-The Hollies

But it turns out, they were both acting majors and ended up having almost all their classes together. And now they are married and going out to auditions together. Bre is currently starring in Xanadu at Weber State, which sounds wickedly awesome.

It has been so fun for me to go back and revisit some of my past couples and families, and remember how sweet it is when you are just starting out on your adventure together.
