Lucy is going to be a big sister and it’s a pretty big deal around here! Scott, Lucy and I are so, so excited for this new little one that will be joining us sometime around November 18th. Getting our babies here has proven to be the great challenge in our lives, and I can’t express how blessed we feel to have this new one joining our family. Giving Lucy a sibling has been my dream for a long time, and we are just over the moon that we can be a little family of four.

As far as the pregnancy practicalities, I’ll be shooting weddings through the end of September and sessions through mid-October and coming back mid-Winter, after the holidays. I’m so excited for all my wonderful clients this year. I have already worked with so many of you, and your joy and happiness has added so much to mine own. When I look at my job, I feel like I get to be at the very beginning of your journey. It’s exciting and new and full of promise. Through my struggles to have a family, I have loved your family even more. I love your nieces and nephews, and when you have your own babies, I maybe cry a little bit. Thank you for trusting me to capture the beauty and love that is yours.

Love, Lindsey

I have been holding onto Kristy and Adam’s beautiful Zion Vow Renewal for quite awhile. Their feature just came out in Destination I Do magazine and it is perfect! Kristy is the talented genius behind Momental Designs, where she makes beautiful, custom invitations and stationery. I was honored and excited when she asked me to photograph her 10 year wedding anniversary in Zion National Park. It just happened to my 10 year anniversary the same month, so I got to live a little bit of the dream along with Kristy and Adam. Every detail was lovingly thought out, and so much care was put into making the day memorable, lovely, delicious, and fun. Kristy and Adam are from Scranton, PA, but fell in love with Zion during one of their National Park explorations. For their May 15th, 2010 renewal, they headed out West with  a small party of loved ones and celebrated in style. Kristy has some wonderful thoughts on planning and executing their big day, which you can find here. Thank you so much Kristy and Adam! I loved witnessing the renewal of your love and commitment and I am excited for all your future adventures! And thank you Destination I Do for the wonderful feature. I feel all kinds of fancy.

    • Tierney says:

OH, I must have missed that little part that says they are from Scranton… even closer to my backyard!! I get so excited about things like that. It shows I’m not the only East coast admirer of your work!

I’m so honored and excited to share Maile and Mitch’s wedding feature in Utah Bride and Groom. Val did a beautiful job laying out the magazine. If you haven’t already, you should pick up a copy. Utah Bride and Groom is consistently top notch, and I feel pretty special to be there, amongst all the lovelies and inspiration. Of course, it all comes down to Maile and Mitch, and their beautiful wedding and wonderful team they had working for them. Thank you Val and Utah Bride and Groom, for the amazing feature. I have my copy purchased, on the bookshelf with pride!

So, back in 2011 I was published in this kinda amazing magazine. Oh, it was just this little thing called, PDN’s Top Knots. Ya know, no big deal :) And then I got super busy with wedding season, and never got around to sharing my happy news. But here I am, finally getting to it. I was in such beautiful company, and was so honored and excited to see Alex and Blake’s lovely kiss amongst all the inspiring images. There is something about seeing your work in print, in an actual magazine, that gets my heart all a flutter.

So, better late than never, I present PDN Top Knots, 2011! Cool, right?

There it is! There it is!

The online version, and the actual version.

    - What a great 5 days, well done to every body iovvlned, Jasmine is right Sachin “just start running” go for it. I have been doing wedding for a year now and I really enjoy it, I started as a 1st and don't have a second shooter, its very hard covering the whole day on your own. Think after watching the course I might start using a second shooter, Best of luck Sacin, “just keep it real” and have a great time. Peter.

  10. Carlos says:

    - Great post Sachin! This cmmoent, “Its important to be inspired, but its more important to be inspired and take action.” really hit a nerve with me. I think I have a ton of inspiration but with that I also have a ton of fear of taking action. Something I have to work on. Thanks again for sharing your experience with all of us. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I have been so excited about this new blog and website. But, once-upon-a-time, not too long ago, my original blog is where all the action happened. So in honor of all my past lovely couples and families, I’m going to have an Archive Week and showcase some of my favorite sessions from the last year or so.

Also, if you ever want to check out my work for the last 3+ years, you can always head over to the original blog here,

www.greenapplephotography.blogspot.com

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look. I wouldn’t have a job without all of you, and my wonderful clients, so thank you!

Love, Lindsey

I think I'm just now getnitg the hang of it. It's like what my sister does. She used to collect home decor catalogs to get ideas. Now she doesn't have to do that. Genius.

Does images on DVD mean that you can print them? Or only watch a slideshow of them in a DVD player?

  2. Efer says:

Well Agent Bond, it looks like the lvuebog has bitten. Maybe I can round yall up some more ducks for a wedding gift. Tell Heath to keep you away from that pond where the hawk does his hunting. I will miss your last name, but I’ll get use to it. I wish you & Heath the best that life has to offer.
